This is so fun learning the Revolution City Theme…  Always a dream.  I am testing this to see how the featured theme works.  Brian Gardner is awesome with his WordPress themes and on the City Theme it uses a plugin called the Featured Content Gallery… So Cooooooool!

It’s all about blogs these days…  People ask me “Are Blogs Important?” The reason why blogs are important is that there has been research and they have found that people reading your blog are more apt to buy from you than from someone else with the same product or service.  I found that very interesting and feel that the reason is how you connect with someone through your blog.

People are so used to sales copy and upsells… it is so commonplace for them.  Not to say that good sales copy is not important… It is just that coming from the heart and touching those that read your articles is connecting with emotions and people want to feel good and connect with others out here in this vast superhighway.

When it comes to marketing strategies I check in with Bob Yeager.  He is my Coach & Mentor and just an awesome soul.  He’s a fire sign & I’m an earth sign…  Good combination for the launch of my new site SoulPurposeMarketing.com.

Bob stays up on all the industry standards and what is new in the world of marketing and personal development.  He has taught me about marketing in todays day and age.  It’s not like the old days when you could put up a website and do some pay per click and make a great income.

I’m not saying that you can’t make money using PPC, it’s just that you have reach people in a different way, different marketing.  You have to figure out what type of market you are marketing to… what are their likes and dislikes… women are different than men, age groups, product user types, etc.  I think you get the idea.
